While at Kyunghwa Girls' Middle School, my teaching partner and I taught over 600 students, using original lesson plans designed to engage the students in their English Language Learning.
My teaching partner, Naomi Waterhouse-Johnson, and I were assigned to teach the nine different 2nd grade classes (15 year olds). As native speakers of English, we decided to focus on topics that would interest and engage our students, as well as provide them with communicative language they could use in everyday conversation.

The first lesson taught focuses on traditional foods found in America, as well as descriptive language used about these foods.

The second lesson is a continuation of the first, but revolves around the making of food. The main activity in this lesson is the creation of a recipe.
